My Day at School: How is my day similar to or different from a schedule in other cultures? How do my activities define me? How balanced is my lifestyle?
Present tense first person sentences to describe activities during the day and where. For example,
I read
I write
I study
… in Science class, at the library, etc.
By the end of this unit, students will be able to:
– understand the classes and when they meet by reading schedules from France, Switzerland and Morocco.
– ask someone about their typical day and tell them about a typical day.
– write a summary of my classes and what I do during my classes.
– say where they go and what they do there during their typical day.
– be familiar with the school day in Burkina Faso, Rwanda and Senegal.
