Pays francophones chaque semaine

Posted by: Bryce Williamson
This is an enormous powerpoint & resource list with most francophone countries / overseas departments/territories. I go through approximately one per week, starting in French 1. I got through about two thirds of the countries this year. I have lots of activities that I do to expand certain countries (for example for Senegal and Martinique, I have pre and post-viewing questions for the videos). I use it as a source of comprehensible input and as a way of talking about colonization from the beginning of French 1. You’ll notice that there are some notable countries missing (like Canada, I think) because I cover these separately early on.
I put this together starting in 2021, so some links are probably broken and some info might be slightly outdated.
