This is a slide deck I will use with my Year 1’s and Year 2’s as a basis for our Welcome Back conversations using CI techniques. It includes an overview of the Opening Ceremonies, famous performers, iconic locations for the competitions, notable French athletes, and contextualized vocabulary related to the Olympics. I have personalized the deck to include some of my own favorite French Olympians, and acknowledge that some others have been omitted for time’s sake, as have notable locations, sports, and the closing ceremonies. Feel free to add or subtract elements of your own interest to adapt this deck to your liking).
