This is a short 3 to 4 day mini-unit centering on Gender and Sexuality in the francophone world and tying into the theme “La Quête de Soi” on the AP French exam.
Link to the slides, click here (within the slides a graphic organizer is linked)
My plan for breaking down the slides:
Day 1 : Read the two sources and use graphic organizer (linked in slides)
Day 2: Watch the court métrage, review vocab and do a free write
Day 3: Formal (graded) writing using the 2 sources and court métrage as evident
Day 4: Watch some/all of Ted Talk (still working on figuring out best activities to accompany this) If anyone has ideas for listening activities please let me know! I have been struggling to get my students to work on their listening (definitely their weakest area at the moment)
