This document is a guided film study of the movie “Délicieux” on Amazon Prime video, which is the PERFECT film to debut a food unit. It is about the creation of the restaurant in France right before the French Revolution. There are a lot of wonderful cultural and historical themes that you can discuss.
Age group target: High school, but can be shown to 8th graders with guidance throughout the film viewing. I used it with my 8th graders.
The movie is in French with English subtitles so appropriate for any level. I used it with French 1s.
Level: I have linked the movie sheet below that can be modified for upper levels.
