I made this page for students in level 1 to quiz themselves on the subject pronouns and the conjugated forms of the verb être in the present tense.
I printed this page for each student as a 2-sided copy. The format then works for students to quiz themselves using the paper, or to cut the boxes apart to create flashcards.
(You could change être to any verb – it just happened to be the first verb conjugation that my French 1 class studied.)
