Consignes/Directions:
This is an information gap activity to review numbers from 0 to 300,000 and facts about Canada, France, and the United States.
- Students work in groups of three or 6 (two people share the same number)
- Print double-sided copies of each partner page. I use different colors to help differentiate partners.
- Students will sit FIRST in partner groups (Partner 1, 2, 3/same color page) so that they can practice the numbers and facts together.
- Students will first quietly read their facts for each theme. Communication is the goal, so they will need to be able to pronounce their facts and numbers. Assist with preparation.
- Students will then form groups of three (or 6) with at least 1 member from each other group. A full group has a partner for each fact sheet.
- Students will take turns reading a fact from each category. Support use of French and requests for repeating/thanking.
- Students will write in the information they learned from each partner.
- Additionally: You can change groups every 3-5 minutes to help mix groups/pronunciation exposure.
- Interpersonal
- Intermediate
- Not grammar-based
- Contemporary life | Vie contemporaine
- Document (Word, Google Doc, PDF)
- I attest that this is true
