Les Jeux Olympiques: Chat Mat, Taboo & A/B Speaking

Posted by: Dianne Tiner

This is a chat mat with the symbols and majority of sports that are in the Olympics. The second page is another chat mat with sports vocabulary that can be used to talk about sports. The chat mats could be used to talk about sports as kids play the Taboo game I have also included. This A/B activity goes with the chat mat I made with the sports and other sport vocabulary on Les Jeux Olympiques. Pair up the kids and they describe the sport without saying the name of the sport. When they correctly figure out the sport being described, they write the corresponding letter or number that their partner tells them that is on their sheet.
